Walls Present : Ecstatic
A 3-part DJ series, hosted by the Kompakt duo, with special guests.
Kompakt Records’ WALLS present a three month DJ residency at The Waiting Room, kicking things off with the opening party on the 7th September, which will also feature a DJ set from DFA Gavin Russom.
Over the course of the trilogy, Alessio Natalizia and Sam Willis hope to showcase the diversity of their musical influences, as well as their ability to engage and challenge a dancefloor.
Widely acclaimed for his stellar, tripped-out synth work both as part of Delia & Gavin, Black Meteoric Star, The Crystal Ark and of course LCD Soundsystem Walls are delighted to welcome Russom for what’s sure to be a very special set.
Along the way, we can expect a journey to the outer reaches of the duo’s record collection, featuring tripped out synth and rock weirdness, and scuzzed out house and techno, not to mention a window into forthcoming studio material from Walls themselves.
A unique window into the souls of one of the UK’s most vital and inventive studio partnerships.
